Public clouds

Hello everyone. Let's continue with the topic of the "cloud" a bit. Surely many of you have heard or read something like “amazon cloud"Or"Accessing the Oracle cloud". But if we already said that the cloud is the Internet, how can it be from Amazon or Oracle?

Well, since the Internet is a network, each cloud service operator has a small “piece” of the Internet at their disposal. For this reason, when you use the "Amazon cloud", you are making use of the servers (computers) that Amazon has on the Internet. These servers can be hosted anywhere in the world, and it is practically impossible to know exactly where.

At SPCnet we have a Own Data Center at our facilities in Vitoria-Gasteiz, And that means that, as an operator, we also have a small piece of the Internet at our disposal. In our Data Center we host multiple servers to offer cloud services, and unlike those whales, we know at all times, as any of our clients can know, where their data is hosted.
